Why Do We Need Jesus?
Let's begin with fact that you and I are free to make your own choices.
God has made us this way because He loves all of us, each and every one!
There are many people out in the world who believe in Jesus Christ who have yet to see their need for him.
Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone that says to me."Lord, Lord" shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven. But he that does the will of my Father who is heaven.
Many will say to me in that day."Lord, Lord. Have we not prophesied in your name. And in your name cast out devils. And in your name done many wonderful works?"
And then I will profess to them, "I never knew you. You that work iniquity."
Why do we need a Savior?
The word of God tells us that no one is good enough to save themselves.
Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous. No, not one."
Why is no one good enough?
God's word tells that no one is goo enough to earn their way to heaven. We all are sinners.
Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
What is God's price of sin?
The penalty for sin is death. Death is two fold. Once physically. Second spiritually.
Romans 6:23 "The wages sin is death."
Luke 12:4-5 "My friends, be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom you shall fear. Fear him which after he hath power to cast you into Hell. Yes i say unto you, fear not."
What is God's way out?
Through the precious blood of Jesus Christ!
Romans 5:8 " God commands his love toward us in that. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us."
